ABOUT
Writer - Poet - Creative

What Started It
Ever since I was a child, I've had a love of words. From my first made up phrase to learning to read early, I took in every bit of storytelling craft that I could.
How It Went
As a busy adult (daughter, friend, wife, mother, volunteer), I discovered blackout poetry. From there, I decided to start experimenting with writing poems from scratch–a creative project that was only supposed to take one year. Three years later, I walked away with three, full-length manuscripts and the beginnings of two more poetry books.
Where It's At
Currently, I have six books that I've self-published, several more at various stages in the writing/editing process, and have started working on prompt journals to provide an opportunity for others to get writing without feeling lost. One book and journal at a time, I'm preparing for readers to get their hands on polished copies.

What About You?
That's me! Thanks for reading about it, but I'm curious about you . . .

Are you someone who has ideas and feelings and thoughts you want to explore? Do you see potential in even "insignificant" things? Does the every-day-mundane evoke whimsy and emotion in you?
I want to share the joy and even healing that can come from innovation, writing, and reading with anyone who wants to take that leap and see what comes next.

If that sounds like you, I'd love to be a cheerleader in your creative journey! Click on the Write section above, or get in touch using your preferred option below. I hope to hear from you soon!
