Kiana Lin? Who Cares?

It's a fair question.

Maybe I'm shooting myself in the foot here, but honestly? I'm nobody in particular. I've done a lot of things I'm proud of, plenty of stuff I'd rather no one mention - EVER, and a portion of both are things that most people probably don't even care about. So, why even read what I have to say?

Well, for starters, I'm not one of those people who thinks everyone should listen to me. I already know I'm not for everyone. I'm rather blunt, a bit too literal, and I'm very, very curious. I'm going to write about a whole host of topics - whatever catches my intellectual fancy - and some of those subjects might not be interesting to you.

Next, I'm opinionated. I'm willing to learn and change how I apply information, but I'll admit to getting stuck in a certain way of thinking at times. But that's okay if you love a challenge. I'm more than willing to get into it with strangers on the internet if you wanna pick a fight to try to change my mind. (I'm only kidding a little. I generally subscribe to that line from Disney's Aristocats: "[Kianas] never start a fight, but [I] can finish them!")

I'm a proud introvert, so a blog is one of your best bets if you actually do want to get to know me. And I want you to get to know me. There's so much I want to tell you about - like my crafting and blackout hobbies, like my three poetry books I'm working to publish, like my nerdy family and crazy friends, and even my dummy fur babies . . .

So how about this? As much as I want you to get to know me, I want to get to know you too. I want all the comments, questions, silly stories, topic suggestions, and creative discussions. Let's talk!
