Well Hello There!

Remember me? I'd like to say that much of my absence was due to NaNoWriMo, but my paltry 10,000 word count (all written within the first week) would prove me a liar. So why exactly was I not keeping up with the blog posts? Well, if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, then you probably saw my announcement. If you didn't . . .
I'm publishing my first book on January 1st, 2021!
Yep! You read that right! As such, I've been busy polishing up my final draft, still more researching ( just assume always doing that), sending out ARC's for reviews, revealing the cover/title, and also working to ensure that the business end of things is all set. And yeah, I was also getting distracted and writing things that weren't related to my NaNoWriMo project. But since it's more poetry for yet another book, I'm not too upset by it.
So what's next?
Well, I get this first book out. Make some decisions about when to release my other books. Keep writing. Keep adding works to the RedBubble shop. Keep editing and trying to get reviews for each book, pre-release. And yes, keep blogging. I'm thinking about starting various "series" with these posts, and I'm open to ideas! I have to admit though: The plan right now is to take it down from two posts a week to just one. I've been trying to build up my social media presence, and that means divvying up my time in more ways and across more platforms. Even still, I'm doing my best to do so in a sustainable way that adds value instead of just grabbing for attention anywhere and anyway that I can.
So there you have it: I'm back, you have some insight into what I'm hoping for the next couple months, and an invite to send me some ideas about what you'd like to read about!
